I also enjoy that some of the more popular topic categories are featured at the top. I wonder if it’s possible to get that customized, for each user, to show the categories they’re most active/interested in?

We did mean to get it into this release but we had a miscommunication and it didn’t get into the right ticket queue. We’ll have it for the next one, promise.

We do have the new category pages (redesigned channel pages):

http://community.spiceworks.com/networking for example. That will show you just what is hot within the Networking related groups.

When you go to recent it gives how long ago the thread was made…again confusing
Does’t show what group the thread is in
IMO It looks messy

I’m all for changes but this is a bad one.

IMHO, the page is too glitzy. I’m at work, I need things to be clean, clear and concise. the featured discussions is distracting to me and takes up too much space. Sometimes simple is better.

I am still amazed that A.) this product exists, B.) it is free, and C.) it WORKS!

Minor changes don’t mean anything much.

Kind of like when your lady sports a new outfit or hairdo - it’s all good.

I understand the initial change might come as a shock, but I think it’s more organized than it was previously IMHO. The topics in the updated categories aren’t as scrunched together anymore.
