We have users trying to sign into their accounts but are not receiving the MFA code via email to sign in. Is there something that is not sending? We are using M365 if that is something to note.

Check the obvious stuff like the junk folder and other in-line devices such as an email security appliance. I would also double-check your MFA settings on M365 to ensure that everything is setup correctly.

I was having the opposite problem yesterday, receiving the code but the login page never popped up the box to input said code…took a minute to get logged back in!

@Suzanne-Spiceworks and yes, I did report that to support :wink:

There is a delay from spiceworks or the service that sends out the email with the code. I received the code after 15 minutes.

having the same issue here - have waited over 30 minutes with no luck. just sent email to support see what they can do. had no issues past several weeks just started this morning

That one is stranger, I’ll follow that one up with the support team.

Delays in receiving the email can be down to so many things. Mimecast greylisting is typically the biggest culprit.
