I’ve recently moved to a different Endpoint Security product, which requires that I first uninstall all other AV products. This I did.<\/p>\n
Spiceworks is reporting that the previous AV is still installed. Initially I thought I’d missed some machines, but on checking the new AV is installed and there is no sign of the previous one.<\/p>\n
I’ve used the manage software option and tried to deleted the offending program and get an error from SW, presumably as the program doesn’t exist. When I re-scan this machine the program re-appears in the list of installed software.<\/p>\n
Any ideas why SW is still reporting the old AV?<\/p>\n
