I’ve recently moved to a different Endpoint Security product, which requires that I first uninstall all other AV products. This I did.

Spiceworks is reporting that the previous AV is still installed. Initially I thought I’d missed some machines, but on checking the new AV is installed and there is no sign of the previous one.

I’ve used the manage software option and tried to deleted the offending program and get an error from SW, presumably as the program doesn’t exist. When I re-scan this machine the program re-appears in the list of installed software.

Any ideas why SW is still reporting the old AV?

Is there a cache I need to re-fresh?
