Hello!

I’m having a problem with the information collected by Spiceworks.
The reports of installed software are showing software that are not installed.

Once the information was collected from some machines, I checked in each of the computers and software is not shown on the control panel.

2 Spice ups

From what I understand, leftover registry entries from programs that do not completely remove themselves upon uninstallation have been known to show up on scans.

Spiceworks picks up software from HKLM\software - if it’s listed there it will be listed in SW.

Run registry cleaner and make sure there are no bogus entries for software in your registry.

Did you manage to get this worked out? If so, can you mark the Best Answer and any Helpful posts?

If there isn’t a Best Answer, you can click the Action drop down at the top and select No Answer. That will remove the need for a Best Answer on this post.

Marking the Best Answer will remove the post from the list of message that still need answers thus making it a little cleaner and easier for us to filter through posts that need answers.
