To get the informations you want, you need WMI.

Try to run this script: Rebuild WMI - Script Center and make a networkscan.

If this not helps, run this: Resolving Spiceworks Unknowns Unofficial - Script Center …

Additionally read this: Troubleshooting Spiceworks Inventory Inconsistencies - Spiceworks … and set scan speed to slow.

{"@type":"Person
[{"@type":"Answer
I have some PC that show the computer name but that is all. I have other windows 2k machines that scan ok. the rest of the machines are XP Pro sp2 or better. I even have installed a client that we use to monitor machines through wmi and they fail. The windows firewall is off. I have scanned each machine individually and specified a user name and password. It says that the login succeded by I still can’t get information about the computer. I don’t want to spend a lot of time troubleshooting wmi. I just wanted management to see that these machines only have P4 processors and only 256M ram.
