Monitoring the Response Time on an external node

Hi Guys
I’m new to SolarWinds Orion, We have plenty of External servers that are providing us different services on different ports.
for example x.y.w.z:8090 is a Database which is answering the queries or m.n.l.p:7030 is a web server.
I wanted to Monitor the response time for port 8090 and 7030.
does anybody know how can I do that?

Would you want to contact your SolarWinds Orion provider for some admin training or product training as there can be many sensors and reports etc…

Then as normally web servers should not access DB directly as they are usually on a DMZ with a application server or even load-balanced web servers etc…then each query response also depends on the type of query also.

I have SolarWinds NPM install where I work. All my devices that are being monitored by SNMP, SolarWinds Agent, and ping all report the response times.

That being said, what you’re looking for might be under SAM licensing. Not sure what you have though.
