All of our systems have McAfee Antivirus Enterprise 8.8.0.777 installed.

WMI on the system tells me there is only one antivirus solution installed “McAfee VirusScan Enterprise+AntiSpyware Enterprise”

Spiceworks detects the viirusscanner above and “McAfee VirusScan Enterprise Antivirus”

As far as I can see it detects the 8.8 version twice. (we upgraded through ePO from 8.7, but those got detected perfectly with the right version number)

Is there a fix for this issue?

{"@type":"Person
{"@type":"Answer

Spiceworks reads the antivirus from your computers’ registry as well as the WMI. We have Trend Micro here, but it shows Client, Antivirus, and Enterprise installed across the network. You might always have “more than one” installed, as even the computer sees more than one name for the same product. The program’s name, and the name in the registry and the name showing up in the WMI might all be different thus showing more than one installed.
