I stumbled across a few bands this weekend that I wanted to share and ask that if any of you stumble across anything worth listening to or watching that you would share.

  1. 3Oh!3 - Somewhat like lil John if he were white.

  2. Danger radio - great acoustic stuff

Enjoy fellow Spicers!

If you dont know this radio station, you should. It broadcasts from Seattle, it was the first radio station to broadcast on the internet. They have bands play in their studio daily, their website is the best, you can listen to any theme show, any band that has ever played live on their station. They play all kinds of music(I mean ALL) there are no commercials, the djs know more about music than anyone else ive ever heard on the radio.

They have people donate money to them from around the world, germany china, brussels, london, new york, chicago, la, san fran.

Also, if youre cool enough to be living in Seattle, you can pick it up on 90.3 FM in your car or at your house.

Listen to it for an hour youll be hooked, guaranteed.

Something tells me there’s a wide variety of music like and dislikes.

Since we’re all a bunch of nerds . . .

At least listen to Fette’s Vette, and Nrrd Grrl.

It would probably be incredibly shameless self promotion to post a link to my band. So I’ll refrain from that.

My current favorite to see and hear has to be UK based Gomez. http://www.gomeztheband.com/

Man, promote your band everywhere and anywhere. Hell, put a sticker in the bathroom at work. Who cares what kind of promotion it is. Hell I use to carry stickers of my last band everywhere. NC is full of “OBSIDIAN” sitckers.

This has been my online radio station for a while now, it really gives a very varied selection which you can customise at will.

Good point, one of my old bands played Abilene Grocery in New York City one night and our guitar player put stickers all over the place. We were not asked back to that location. In fact, I think I had to take all the stickers down before they let us leave.

So if you want to hear some of the non work related stuff, feel free to go here.

Bonus points if you figure out how to pronounce the name.
