Can any spicehead direct me to a good Network + book for N10-005 exam preferably a free .pdf version along the lines, thanks

I don’t know about free books, but Professor Messer has a free online Net+ training course. As far as books, I found the Network+ Passport by Mike Meyers to be very helpful. I’m sure you could pick it up for under $20. Between the two, that is probably enough information to pass the exam.

I recently went through the Mike Meyers Network+ guide, you can grab it on Amazon pretty cheap (just under $30)

He does tend to ramble a little, but I passed the exam only using the book and the couple of test exams that came along with it on the disk. I’m not sure that you’d be able to legally get a free edition of a good Net+ study guide, but there is some decent info here:
