Today I upgraded our 1.3 Network Monitor installation to the 1.4 beta, and my dashboard screen comes up blank. The Devices screen seems to work fine, and I’m still getting alerts via email, just no Dashboard.

Any ideas on how to resolve?

Had this happen to me on a switch once. Turned out the GUI an “unsigned java application” or some other BS that sounds similar. The Java security setting were keeping it from displaying on the web interface. I had to turn off my internet security settings, disable all addons to the browser i was using and add the IP to the exceptions list in the java control panel.

This is probably being caused by unexpected data in one of the databases that wasn’t upgraded properly. We’ve fixed it in our code base but haven’t updated the beta with it yet.

Is there a way for me to recover from this condition? How do you suggest I proceed? Complete uninstall / reinstall / re-add my devices?

The beta probably isn’t going to be updated, we’ll just release it in general on Tuesday the 2nd.

running 1.5.116 and I have a blank dashboard as well. Any thoughts other than uninstall?
