Issue is that this server is creaking with the strain it’s under so I’m trying to do some network monitoring to justify an upgrade to memory. Thing is this thing is crashing like a mofo. As soon as I’m on the page and click on the server it just stops responding. Inventory works fine, it’s as soon as i’m in Network monitor. It’s also okay if I’m on a monitored switch, it’s as soon as I’m on the server.

There are 515 outstanding alerts which is almost certainly the cause of the issue. I should have configured it to give less alerts but I just left it as I was dealing with other issues.

Is there a way to clear these errors? Or should I just reinstall network monitor?

Welcome to the community!! What is the Spiceworks Network Monitor version you have? Also make sure to not run Spiceworks Inventory/Helpdesk on the same server or on WIndows 10.

Can you specify which alerts are you seeing, are they from helpdesk or network monitor? Are you getting emails of the network monitor?

{"@type":"Person
dbeato
https://community.spiceworks.com/u/dbeato"}}]}}

Oh yeah, just upgraded Spiceworks to the current 101 version.
Running on Win 10 Pro OS in a virtual environment. Box has plenty resources and isn’t stressed for resorces at all. 50% mem and low CPU usage.
I’ve restarted the VM, updated Spiceworks, tried accessing the system from another machine and another browser.
Sounds like Spiceworks Desktop and Spiceworks Network Monitor are running on the same machine. This is not supported, and it’s the main cause of your issues. One of them will need to move.
Second, Windows 10 isn’t a supported OS for Spiceworks Desktop. I recommend moving your Spiceworks Desktop installation to a different machine with a supported OS:
