I started using Network Monitor last week with v1.4. I loaded about 6 servers and 12 of my 20+ switches. I should mention that I loaded this on a new Windows 10 system. It mostly worked but would hang if left on the screen too long. It only show 10 switches on the dashboard so that’s not very helpful. Anyway, I took the chance of upgrading to beta v1.5 since I didn’t have a lot of time invested at this point and figured it might display more information. It didn’t. In fact I wasn’t sure if it updated as there is no version to be found anywhere on the screen. The servers displayed but non of the switches could be found. “Communication issue with device” I added ports 5556 & 5558 to my Kaspersky.
Any ideas?

I would send an email to support@spiceworks.com, they are very helpful
Thanks for the reply. I have been out of the office since then. When I get back I am going to shut it down until I have time to try it on Windows 7. Right now I’m getting too many emails telling me that my servers are offline and then back online and all my switches have communication problems.
We found out recently that the most recent beta didn’t install a firewall rule for a port it needed open. If you still have your install up, try opening port 8086.
Thanks Tim, I will reinstall it later this week and see if that helps.
