When scanning our network, we have several devices that are access points or ip phones, We have no way to log into these, so spiceworks cannot identify the devices. We have confirmed what they are and would like to keep these and rename them. Can someone help me with how to inventory devices that cannot be logged into? Can we manually Inventory devices with the Ip address? Just wanting to move them from the error list to a customized group. You certainly can.

Since SW has scanned them they are already in the DB (wrongly, but they are there), so this is the easy part, now find each device in the inventory click it, change scanned type to manual and that’s it (click the spanner icon and edit), rename and edit at will.

Rinse, repeat.

{"@type":"Person
[{"@type":"Answer
