I have literally tried every setting and idea from Google and Spiceworks to try and get the scan errors fixed. I have read every piece of documentation on this issue and nothing works. We get: “Windows does not respond. Permission or firewall problem” and “Windows WMI port not open, firewall problem”. Every setting that Spiceworks says to have and use is already being implemented on the error-ed machines. I try to check settings from a “good” computer against a “bad” computer and both machines settings are the same. We are in a domain environment as well with, Windows not using the firewall. We have a group policy for that and everything is correct in there too.<\/p>\n
Any ideas??? I’m stumped…<\/p>","upvoteCount":3,"answerCount":3,"datePublished":"2010-08-12T12:51:50.000Z","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"andrew79307684","url":"https://community.spiceworks.com/u/andrew79307684"},"acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"
