After 6 months of being in IT hell, finally got an offer last Friday. I really believe it is in part to SW, not only did I use a resume format that I got here, but the new employer also just installed SW as their helpdesk software. I never was able to implement SW here at my current employer because of the fear my boss has of anything free having a virus in it, I did however continue to read and learn in the community, so going into this position I know the potential SW has to offer.
So thanks to SW and the community at large!!

Congrats! It just amazes me whenever someone talks about their employer not allowing spiceworks in their environment because it is free. I just want to scream: What is wrong with you!!!??? lol!
I’m glad to see you moving on - but now, our expectations of you have just gone up - since you will be using it daily, we hope you are on here helping others!!
Welcome aboard!

Congrats. When I look at free software I always look at why is it free, some software bundles undesirable items to make money, some is an open source project under GNU, and others like Spiceworks doesn’t have to bundle malware to be successful.
