Good day Support

So I have been having the “No open ports for this device were found to be responding” on 26 machines including mine which is a windows 7 64bit machine. I have been digging in the spiceworks community and have done all the tricks in there but still without luck. \

I have done the steps on the following links,

http://community.spiceworks.com/help/Inventory_WMI

The wmic command even returns the serial number of my machine, but I still can’t scan it.

My DNS resloves my machine correctly.

I have run even the commands below and they have run successfully.

c:> netsh advfirewall firewall set rule group=“windows management instrumentation (wmi)” new enable=yes

c:> netsh advfirewall firewall set rule group=“remote administration” new enable=yes

I have also done the steps on http://spiceworksmachine/fix where spiceworksmachine is the machine I have installed spiceworks on the network and still machine can’t be inventoried, spiceworks still complains of ports blocked.

2 Spice ups

check resolving scan errors, Unknowns, and no open ports in Inventory

I have tried the steps in the links provided and even cleared the kuids.yaml but still SW can’t inventory my machine. Any other ideas out there?

Do you have any remote sites? Or the agent installed?

No the machines are on the LAN.
