Hi There,

We recently moved from our exchange environment to Office 365. I noticed yesterday that I was asked to change my password when logging into our web portal. I changed my password and now I noticed that I have a password to login into Office 365 web portal and my domain password. What would I have to do to sync these passwords so my end users do not get confused.

Are you using DirSync with Password Synchronization? Federation with ADFS?

We worked with a third party for the migration and they used dirsync

Check to make sure it’s still up and running properly.

Sounds like your Dirsync is broke. Hopefully you’re still working with that third party of they’ve provided you with documentation

I was able to do a restart of the server and then added a new user to AD and forced a sync and the user is in Office 365 so it now looks like AD is syncing.
