Heyas,

I’ve been having issues where devices randomly appear on and off-line in Spiceworks. Network health is set to scan frequently, but even between network health scans the devices go random. I’ve played with the socket timeout stuff in settings.yaml with no luck. Happens in local setting and workgroups off VPN spoke.

Also having an issue with DNS. Everything was fine, then all the sudden i get a ton of dns errors.

Both nslookup and ping don’t give my any errors, despite what Spiceworks says. Totally whack. I should note that the SW patch has been applied. Still getting SNMP dupes as well.

And where’s my beta 3 badge? haha! Gone all the sudden too!

Ahh well. Here’s hoping. Might just have to R&R or something…

{"@type":"Person
{"@type":"Answer

I sent you a pm with the information on the latest patch in testing. Try updating and see if your problem goes away. This was introduced with one of the patches for test and should be resolved. If not, please get back to us so we can troubleshoot this in more detail. You do not want to install the 3.0.23470 over your patch build. The patch build is more current.

{"@type":"Person
[{"@type":"Answer

Stewy,

If you applied the patch that some customers were testing, you should probably get the latest build. Some of the issues you mention like the online/offline problems were fixed in a build that was uploaded last week.

We also want to hear back from you regarding the dupes after you apply the latetst patch.

Thanks,
