Hi,
I have been having trouble scanning our remote site the site is connected via a VPN
What we have looked at so far
We have checked that the firewalls used for the VPN have no rules configured that will interfere with the scan.
We have created and set in place the relevant GPO to allow connection past the windows firewall.
I have tried using both IP and FQDN with no extra success.
We have been advised to use a separate install as a collector but would like to understand why the scan is failing before we put one in place

Are individual devices failing to get scanned? Is it all devices that are not scanning?

Sorry for the late reply, both individual devices and full scans are failing the result I receive from the portal is that all devices are open so I believe that would means that the scan finds the IP address’ but then doesn’t find anything to read on the other end
Can you run the WMI commands listed on this page from the Spiceworks server?

Make sure that they are from the Spiceworks server and hitting a device you are having problems scanning.
