Lately i’m seeing inaccurate info in the software inventory. For example, spiceworks says some computers have certain software installed but they really don’t. It also says some users have logged on to certain computers when they haven’t. It is almost as if the info from 1 computer is being blended with info from another. Any one else seeing this? I’m running ver 3.6.31646

Well, the software showing up in Spiceworks that isn’t on the computer is a common problem. If you install software on a network machine and then uninstall it, I haven’t found any way to remove it from Spiceworks.
Some have reccomended deleting the \cache directory, others deleting the computer in spiceworks then re-scanning or just doing a refresh. None of these methods worked for me. I’m running 3.6 as well.
The logging in problem I can’t say I’ve run into, are you absolutely sure that you’re getting incorrect login data?
