\nI’m currently testing the inventory module, and I am a little stuck trying to find some basic stuff. I hope I can get some hints here. I’m looking for fields to add the<\/p>\n

- Purchase Date<\/li>\n
- Purchase Price<\/li>\n
- Some kind of EOL date

The Spiceworks Device Inventory module is extremely limited in scope. There are no additional fields you can add, fields you can edit, or additional information you can retrieve. What you see is what you get.<\/p>\n
So if you’re looking to customize with additional information, you may want to look at another inventory tool or use a separate tool like a spreadsheet to keep track of the additional information because Spiceworks will not be able to do that unfortunately.<\/p>\n
You are most welcome to provide suggestions by submitting a feature request<\/a>. The following existing request may be exactly what you’re looking for. Spice it up to lend your vote to the suggestion. But do note that development has been very, very slow so chances of this being implemented right away is unlikely.<\/p>\n
