Since Logmein got prohibitively expensive, I’ve been using Remote Utilities (Agent mostly) for helping clients.

I can’t seem to get a connection with MS Quick Assist (might be my Virgin Router).

What is considered to be the best option ? It may only be once or twice a year for some clients so it’s not worth them (or me) paying much.

Join.me is free I believe? Should be fine for the one off clients

Thanks - I just saw someone asked virtually the same question yesterday. I should have checked first.

I’d forgotten about join.me - will give it a look thanks.

No problemo, have a nice day =)

Splashtop On-Demand Support with Mobile is very cost effective (at promotion pricing) at $199 per technician per year for unlimited quick support (ad hoc usage).
If you are just support a few unattended computers, you can use Splashtop Business Access which is just $60 per user per year.

Free trial available, and I’m here to answer any question. You will enjoy the super high performance and zero lag remote access experience.

@Splashtop

We actually just released our ConnectWise Control Free product that might be right up your alley. It comes with a single tech license and then 3 access agents and you get all of the features that come with our remote support software like role-based security, audit logs, in-house security, etc. You can start a free trial for 14-days to get all of the Premium features, and then go back to the Free product after 14-days. Let me know if you have any questions!

I meant to ask though, do you use Logmein central or the full suite with meetings et al? We use just logmein central here and it costs about £400 a year for 100 clients

I don’t use logmein at all now - just remote utilities.

I dropped Logmein because of their stealth practices re renewals. Collecting payment without notice, particularly with a massive price hike is not acceptable to me or my clients.
