My Kaseya is getting old and unstable. What are others using for unattended remote access to workstations? I know it has. Even discussed before but I want to consider any new solutions. Thank you.

Screen Connect gets the job done for the most part. Their service still crashes every now and then for us. We can remote restart the service when this happens.
I’m testing out Goverlan remote but haven’t used it enough. So far it seems to work ok.

Are you looking for an entire RMM solution (which Kaseya is)
Or just for a remote access replacement?
RMM → N-able, labtech, continuum, gfi, etc. etc.
Remote Software → Screenconnect, bomgar, teamviewer, dameware MR, etc. more here

Please check out Splashtop Business for Remote Support. w www.splashtop.com/remote-support for free trial. It’s high performance, reliable, and cost effectives. over 30k+ MSPs using the solution now.
Several RMM vendors (Autotask/Centrastage, Atera, Naverisks, etc.) integrate Splashtop.

Thanks, Neally. I was thinking ITSM or RMM. Has anyone ever used SysAid?
Mark (Splashtop), does the unattended version integrate with Spiceworks yet?
Sorry, only Splashtop On-Demand (attended support) is integrated with Spiceworks ticketing system.
We will look into integration for unattended version in near future. Despite not integrated yet, the experience should still be solid, since many are using Spiceworks + unattended Splashtop Business for Remote Support. Thanks

Compliance is key so when you remote connect people have to agree to let you in and the rule is to close anything that has PII or PHI information on the screen before connecting. There is still a shadow mode if needed.
It also inventories the computer configuration and keeps the last logon times.
Hi Gary- check out TeamViewer . Our Remote Access tool allows for unattended access, and should be able to accomplish what you’re looking to do. TeamViewer can be used as an incredibly simple, yet powerful IT management platform that you can integrate directly into your work environment, that allows you to access devices anywhere, any time.
Hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions!
@TeamViewer
Thanks for the ScreenConnect shout!
What features are you really looking for? We have a ton of features in our ScreenConnect software, including access from anywhere, the ability to remotely uninstall a client at any time, transfer sessions from one technician to another, etc. If there are any specifics you’re looking for, let me know, and I can see if ScreenConnect would fit the bill! You can also check the features page here: https://www.screenconnect.com/Remote-Support-Features
