Hi,

Remote site (latest version) is not sending data to central site (latest version). Installation procedure seemed to go well (no errors reported), only after last step, the remote site seems to stop working. The link to the remote site from the central site page “Remote sites and agents” does not work (Chrome says the web page is unavailable). and no devices are coming in.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Check the port Spiceworks is running on. I bet it got reset and is not lined up with Firewall port rules…

It seemed that the remote site install only ran at startup, not as a service, so nothing was running on remote site.

I completely reinstalled strictly following manual, however I did have to change startup to “service” myself. Now I’m waiting for first scheduled scan to run.

Firewalls between sites do not block anything between these servers, so that should be no issue. And both are running on ports 80 and 443.

Problem is solved now, all data is coming in to the central server just fine.
