reorganize steps in article

Hello,

We have a personal ‘How To’ article in our Spiceworks that has ~ 15 steps. I had to switch a couple steps in the middle, and realized that when you rearrange them with Edit, they don’t assign a new Step #. Afterwards if you hit save, it puts the step back to where it was before.

Am I missing something or is this just a missed bug?

Hi Justin,

I just tried to reproduce using Chrome as my browser and was able to reorganize Step One to the second position without any issue (see screen shot).

Let me know if you experience the same issue when using a different browser or workstation.

Hmm here’s what I’m seeing. I don’t know if there is a difference between articles, like “How To” or general Knowledge base article. Mine is a general knowledge base article…

Mine was a KB article as well. If you restart the application, does the issue persist?
