I have spent a lot of my career working for or with MSP’s. The one thing I miss and think would be a huge benefit where I am is a good RMM Tool.
I am looking for some options that the team can use for supporting our desktops / laptops.
I was quite frond of GFI Max - but really don’t like TeamViewer due to it linking into Outlook - causing the users to become confused between TeamViewer and Lync.
- Kaseya is a no go.
- LabTech a maybe
- N-Able - they have crazy licensing
Anyone out there deployed RMM internally or can name others that I can look into?

Teamviewer doesn’t necessarily need to link to Outlook…
When I trialed GFI Max there was no option to not have it link into Outlook. It just done it.
Unless there is a switch that can be used when running the installer?

Self hosted or cloud hosted?
Hi Brianinca,
Self hosted would be preferred.
You mention Teamviewer, is this because you are specifically looking for a remote support tool or is the combination of remote support monitoring appeal to you? Are you working within a domain? Why not just enable and use the built-in Windows function?
@NashBrydges
We are looking for Remote Support, Device Management as well as automation of tasks (Cleaning)
We are a domain with circa 300 devices.
Take a look at BeAnywhere inSight. It’s the the only one I know that was not mentioned yet.
