How can I scan a remote network through a VPN tunnel

Connect to the VPN and then add the IP address or addresses to scan.
Settings → Network Scan → “Click Here To Add A New Scan Entry”
You will need admin rights on the machines you’re scanning across the VPN, just fyi.
A VPN, by definition, is a purely transparent entity to a scanning service like SpiceWorks. SpiceWorks sees devices on the far side of a VPN in exactly the same manner that it sees devices on its own local subnets.
I am rather late on this one!
Thank you for the information.
If I scan multiple subnets, how can I segrigate the results from the scan
The easiest way is to change your view in the inventory dashboard to the multi-pane view (browse mode). Then you can select by IP address.
There is no built-in “browse by IP range” grouping but you can group devices in many ways after you scan.
