Hi all, I am looking for a video editing software that is along the lines of imovie and windows movie maker that I can deploy out to our student computers running windows10.
We don’t need high end editors as the needs of the students are quite simple. They range in age from 8 to 12 years old. Budget is a concern as always in a school so the cheaper the better.
In the end, the focus of the videos is not about production level but presenting their understanding of the task being the main focus, that is why imove and windows movie maker were ideal.

Take a look at the NCH Suite. It is quite advanced for what it is.
I use light works it looks a bit intimidating but is actually really simple to use, plus it’s free which is a bonus.

+1 for LightWorks
The functionality behind it supports a wide range of uses and users. And best of all its free.

I still use Windows Movie Maker. Very intuitive.
