What do you guys do when your job gets boring? I am not talking about extra time but just boring SSDD. I like to learn new things I have never done before like learn some new software thats way over my head or go into a company and play cleanup. I look at all kinds of different stuff but if I can’t implement it for a reason its worthless and boring. The day goes by so slow. Frank had an excellent idea: become the webmaster for a non-profit. I recently did that. It definitely helped sharpen my web skills and took up a lot of boredom time, but be careful, just because they don’t drive revenue doesn’t mean they won’t want everything a million dollar company has!<\/p>\n
Buddy, I do the same thing with VMWare Server or Hyper-V almost daily. Take snapshots of a couple of my favorite OSs and I can spin a new one in a minute or two.<\/p>\n

We are working on a new Virtual Iron system and that is a great thing about it. You can setup a server or desktop virtual system in minutes and test out all kinds of software. Then just delete the virtual machine after you are done. Good times…
