Its my last day, the past few days have been really boring for me. I sit around and answer calls and that’s it. I dont want to start any new projects since I’m leaving and ive finalized all my other projects (or handed them over) and done all my documentation for the other things. What do yall do on days like this? I’ve read the news, surfed the forums, played a little DF, I’m just sorta sitting around.

Could see how many times your chair can spin before it stops.

Honestly it doesn’t really matter what do you. When I quit my last job I brought in a cake that said “F#$% This Place” and then I left.

Yeah ive done that, HR got mad at me when i fell out :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

@NathanSpruth, I’m leaving on a good note, I actually like my job here but I’m leaving for something better.

I’m going to guess they probably aren’t on your reference sheet?

Oh or you could roll down the hallways in your chair, and give a creepy stare as you roll by.

I spent most of my last day going around to say goodbye to all of the people that I had worked with over the previous 7 years. Even then, I didn’t see everyone.

The last job I quit I ended up not going in on my last day due to bickering. It was a temp production floor job for a radiator manufacturer. My last day on the job before that the rest of the crew (managers and all) didn’t show up to the site were we were doing repairs at. Have you begun packing up your things? Have you gone around and said your farewells to everyone?

As others have said you could spin in a chair, roll down the hallway, or play halo. You could also try to throw sharpened pencils at the ceiling and get them to stick, read comic books on Marvel Unlimited, send people confusing emails.

O just thought of a good one. You should totally make a fake treasure map and hide it in your office for the next person to find.

I actually DID leave on a good note. With the company I worked for it was a call center and if you put in your two weeks notice they walk you out right there. So I knew that when I told my boss I found another job he would have to walk me out of the building. I brought the cake as a joke and he laughed because he hates the place too but makes too much money to be able to find anything else in the area.

This!
Treasure maps are fun!

When my Grandfather passed away back in the late 80’s my father and I went up to clean out the garage. While we were going through some stuff we found an envelope addressed to us that looked to be several years old. We opened it and there was a hand drawn map and several “clues” to a treasure.

We blew the rest of the afternoon looking for it…Turned out that under a tree back by the barn he buried steel box.

Inside the box was half a bottle of bourbon and a 5 pack of snickers candy bars, 1 and half candy bars were missing and there was a note for us to enjoy the rest as he had had his share…

One job I stayed late to help out. Another I got back after lunch, looked around, and said **** this place and walked out.

Last job I went and had a really good lobster roll for lunch and drove home. That was nice.

Well, I just spent 20 minutes at work playing that…

You should hide things all around the office so that years from now people will remember you “yep, that was Gary, always finishing his documentation”
