Last Day Friday

Its been a long 2 years, but I’m “celebrating” my last day in an industry which is not Hospitality/Restaurant oriented. Monday I start a new position as directory of it support for a point of sale company whose clients are mostly restaurants. What makes this Friday all the more interesting is I’m sitting here, my last day at this job and the POWER fails in the building. Yes, the entire building where they rent office space, where the IT department is located, has no power!

I’m laughing about this right now as I’m writing this feeling like it could that last entry in my journal before the end, especially as my battery backup is slowly nearing its end and I may be left without technology for the rest of the day.

I was going to say it seemed recently that you just moved to this job. And that it wasn’t restaurant-related.

The last two years haven’t been anything to crow about in any case. I think it’s going to be a good change for you to be back in your “comfort zone.”

Sean - Appears some features like Quote not available via website on mobile devices. It been a good first couple days. Much to learn and glad they are not pressing it too quickly.
