Hello, We recently upgraded our SonicWall to a new model and will be implementing SSL VPN using NetExtender. I down loaded the newest version (8.0.241) and installed it on my computer, the installer seems to have run OK, but when I try and start the program, it errors and says the install is bad and it needs to be re-installed, I have done that several times with no luck, keep getting the same message. So i went and downloaded and older version of NetExtender (7.5.225) and installed that and it seems to work just fine. But after I tested it, disconnected and went to shut down my computer I got a blue screen. The Computer restarted fine and seems to be running OK now, but I am concerned that this will happen again. What version should I be using on Windows 7(64), what version works on Windows 8.1(64) Any one else experience these issues with NetExtender?

Did you check to make sure your NIC drivers are up to date? Just a starting point.

Did you uninstall the newer before installing the older version? I’ve had issues with 8.0.241 on Windows 7 and had to switch back to 7.5, but haven’t seen any crashing. I’d also recommend checking driver updates.

how to/where to download NetExtender.8.0.241 setup??
