Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone else out there has had issues with NetExtender on Windows 10? I’ve tried versions 8.0.238 and 8.0.241 and both are often unresponsive when clicking “connect” or “disconnect” or “reconnect”. Now, usually (not always) the the connection will go through or will disconnect, but the program will say “not responding” for a bit and may show nothing more than a blank window. I think this has only been an issue on the latest version of Windows 10, although I honestly don’t remember for sure. If anyone from Dell or SonicWALL sees this, can you tell me if a new version of the VPN client will be released any time soon?

Thanks!

Hmm. Any idea as to where I might acquire that version? My mysonicwall.com account only shows me up to version 8.0.241.

Do you still have an active license / subscription?
It should be in the portal. If it is still active but you can’t see it maybe give support a ring

I have about a dozen or so firewalls registered under my account, all with active subscriptions. I might reach out to support as you suggested. It’s good to know there is a newer version out there… somewhere. I’ve used the Mobile Connect client on Macs and that works okay. I’ve also used it on phones. Is there a Windows version?

Yes, you can download it from Microsoft app store in Windows 10.

Thanks all! I got a hold of version 8.5.251 and it’s working great so far. I’ll also have to try the Mobile Connect client on Windows 10 sometime.

Mind if I ask where you were able to download this from?

@goinginblind

I had to download it from Ohio State Universities website.

For crying out loud.

Same here. I’m not sure why it does not show as a download option under the mysonicwall.com site. I have many different firewalls there with active subscriptions and 8.0.241 is the latest I see available for download. I think 8.5.251 might officially be part of their SMA line, which we don’t use, but still…
