That perfectly describes Christopher Lee, and he will always be an absolute legend.

Looks like the bloke in today’s Inspirobot image lost his balance. Most likely had a few too many.

I think Tsushima is not the only decisive battleship action in the sense of destroying the enemy fleet.
While not as important to the outcome of the war, the Battle of Surigao Strait on October 25, 1944 was a decisive victory for the USN over the IJN, as well as the last battleship surface action. It is worth noting that the battleships engaged were all WWI vintage or immediately post war since the newest ship West Virginia had been commissioned in 1923 although most of the ships had been extensively reconstructed in the 30 or 40s.

According to our AI overlords:
“The Battle of Jutland, while not a decisive tactical victory for either side, was strategically decisive for the British. It established British naval dominance and ensured the effectiveness of the maritime blockade, which ultimately contributed to Germany’s defeat.”

I think Tsushima is not the only decisive battleship action in the sense of destroying the enemy fleet.

This was the FIRST decisive clash between MODERN STEEL battleships. Nearly 40-years before the battle you mentioned. I think the original post misquoted that, leading to your post here.

I think those 2 roles defined him as a class A actor. Anything I ever saw him in prior to those were B movies.
