We have been using the bulk_import script since version 5 which has worked fine … until now.<\/p>\n
I have been doing some diagnostics and I have noticed that when we do an import of devices only the first one from each type gets imported.<\/p>\n
First I thought this might have been that we were trying to add a field that didn’t exist or something but not I stripped it right back so its was just importing
\nName,Serial Number<\/p>\n
And I’ve found the problem that the name has to be unique now which I find strange as many things can have the same name and the unique identifier being the serial.<\/p>\n
Has something changed in upgrade that has made the name field required to be unique?<\/p>\n
We are running version 7.3.00048<\/p>\n
