What is happening with this product? I haven’t seen any development since version 7.5.00107.

It’s still very much being developed for and improved upon. Honestly, the fewer the updates the better though. It’s stable and rocking right now.

Development of the on-site solution slowed when they began development on some cloud apps which is really unfortunate. That’s something that nobody wants yet everyone is selling. I would much rather see them make the on-site solution more competitive. I know that they are working on an agent based scanner but that’s only going to be good for systems you can install an agent on. I would much rather have advanced network discovery. I don’t want more agents. If they just finished integrating nmap scans then you would have a wealth of information about all devices regardless of make or model. Instead, I heard they stopped working on the nmap scanner… -=Sigh.

That’s step 2. Step 1 is updating the horribly outdated codebase, which is why they’re working so hard on the cloud stuff - it will hopefully serve both products.

That is still recent, September of 2018, just as many other apps where they don’t produce a lot of releases. I guess it is for the Spiceworks Support Team to chime in.
