spiceworks host reports offline after upgrade

I just upgraded my server to 6.0.00922, and now since then the host server reports as offline within Spiceworks. My server is Windows 2008, didn’t seem to have a problem with 5.3. Any suggestions? I have tried rebooting it just to see (always a first step), and know it is on the network (remote supporting it as I type) and credentials are good (haven’t changed any passwords lately).

Overall, it’s not a huge deal, just usually I find out that it is down by not being able to access the dashboard.

Hi Andy,

Is this host in an enabled scan range at Settings → Network Scan Settings?

If not, then it won’t be checked for online status.

yes, the scan for this subnet covers the IP address the server has.

We are experiencing the same issue, but with a Windows 2003 R2 server. I have rebooted the sever and also turned the firewall off but in continues to report as offline. The IP range settings have not changed from the previous edition. Also it does not appear in the scanning errors list.
