Hi,

I’ve started organising devices in my Spiceworks Inventory. Most devices are in multiple groups (workstations are also in printers, servers, VM’s, networking, etc.).

My question is there any to remove any wrong groups for devices in bulk?

Well the first thing will be to rake care of your stale DNS entries so devices are not marked wrongly. You can select multiple devices amd add them to a group, not sure about removing but can check soon.

So to do this follow the guide below:

  1. On your Dashboard, Select network and select Devices:

  3. On the Devices screen, click on the pinwheel icon to the right. Select Add to Group:

  5. Select the devices you wish to add to the group and then select the group you want
