No matter what I do i can’t get the network monitor to recognize my log in. I am sure I am using the correct username and password but it just won’t log in.

The message it gives me is “Invalid email or password.”

I had the same issue here: Cannot log into monitor using my Spiceworks account - follow Davids’ advice on how to get in.

Thanks for the reply AdzzzUK

Unfortunately, I have no luck with just the one account and I followed David’s advice with no luck. The only way I have been able to get into the manager is by creating a new account. But, as soon as I close the window and go back in for re-authentication I cannot log in.

The logs say “http 401” and “registration check failed” with an error message of “Bad email address or password.”

I am very excited for this product but this is very discouraging :frowning:

Hi BillyMac,

Let’s see if we can get this fixed. Use the system tray icon to capture the log file bundle (you will need to stop services first), and I will PM you how to send me the logs.

Good morning David,

Thanks for the follow up. I have opened a formal ticket and I’ve uploaded my logs for another Spiceworker. I appreciate Spiceworks diligence with this.

Regards,

Hi BillyMac, Can you try using your email address in all lower case and tell me if that works? I think that’s the problem.

Interesting. I will try that this afternoon and get back to you.

That worked! Huzzah!

Perfect. I just fixed that code so thanks for reporting the issue!
