Good Morning Spiceworks,

I am currently in the process of setting up our spiceworks user portal. I would love to have it secured using ssl and have started the process of getting a certificate from godaddy to this end.

Unfortunately the guide on GoDaddy’s site starts with “When your certificate request is approved” which leaves a number of steps to be completed before i can follow their guide.

Looking through the community i can find a lot of conflicting guides on what needs to be done, some say use Apache others IIS, most are a few years old and none of them give a complete start to finish confirmed guide on how to set it up.

Does anyone know what i need to do?

Thanks,
Sam
