Badges went out this week! So, if you didn’t get yours and attended - please chime in here!

Why didn’t your badge show up? Similar to why you didn’t see your avatar on your name badge at the event…what happens is if you registered using a different email address than you use here in the Community, we can’t find you

So the challenge as I understand it (granted when this is explained to me I was in the middle of SpiceWorld madness - so my details may be a bit off) is that people’s user name or ID is not necessarily unique. Meaning at some point in time (I think until pretty recently) more than one person could have a user name. There could be another BernardW! BUT you have always had to have a unique email address (so you couldn’t have two community accounts with the same email). I think for new community folks, it’s not a problem (someone here at Spiceworks correct me if I’m wrong!)…only folks who’ve been around before that policy changed.

And Raychelle, you are right. A couple hundred users names are not unique.

Just in the off chance of getting PC before the next decade, is there any chance of getting Spice Points for speakers? Seems I can get points for speaking online, but not so much in person…

Martin, you (and your fellow SpiceWorld presenters) absolutely get pepper points! It’s all a part of being a member of the Voice of IT. (We’ve got it listed here under " Live Events " – scroll to the bottom.) Just give us a day or two to get them awarded. As you probably know, Nic “The Fro” Tolstoshev is out having his Aussie vacation and we’re down one Community Manager here at HQ.
