Are we getting profile badges for attending virtual Spiceworld? If so, is it based off of our community handle, or the email we registered with (I used my work email by mistake, which is not the email I use for spiceworks)?

Yea, I also used my work email instead of my gmail (which I used for my community account). I’m sure they have a plan for this though.

You can e-mail spiceworld@spiceworks.com and let them know. I accidentally registered with our new domain address vs. the old one. I never changed it in my profile. They were able to move it to my old domain address.

How are they handling kilt evidence? Asking the important questions here.

–In past years it has been based on the email you signed up for the conference with (that’s all they have to go on to make the list for the badges). If you need to change it, then contact spiceworld@spiceworks.com.

–If you need to submit kilt evidence, you can either make a post and show the world you and your kilt watching the conference, or you can submit your evidence through a ticket to community@spiceworks.com, and I would be happy to award you the badge through that means as well.

Just to clarify because I’ve gotten a few questions on this, you don’t have to change the email address you signed up for SpiceWorld. You simply need to contact us and let us know (1) what is your Community Account (either by Username, URLname, or the email address attached to it) and (2) the email address attached to your SpiceWorld account.

If they are one and the same, you shouldn’t have to do anything and you’ll get the badge Soon™. If you they are not the same, simply let us know (with the info above) and we’ll make sure you get one.
