Download it for free to your iPhone, iPad, or Android device. Have a Windows Phone or Blackberry? We’ve got you covered with an HTML5 version! Just follow this link from your phone: http://spice.ly/SpiceWorldMobile (or search the App Store or Google Play Store for “Spiceworks IT Conference”). Here’s a QR code for easy reference:

Once installed, you’ll have instant access to:
- The full event schedule and sessions
- Detailed info about speakers & sponsors
- Detailed maps of the venue
- Notifications of important updates & special offers
- Social sharing on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
‘Log in’ for even more options. Once in the app, click on the three bars in the upper left hand corner. On the next screen, click on the gear in the upper right hand corner. Important note: If you use your SpiceWorld registration email address to log in, you’ll be prompted to also enter in your SpiceWorld registration confirmation code. If you log in with an email that is not tied to your SpiceWorld registration, you’ll receive a verification email to move forward. By logging in, you’ll be allowed to take notes on sessions, bookmark speakers and sponsors you want to follow-up with, and even send messages to fellow attendees.

Call me stupid and colour me pink but how do you create an “Event Planner” account?
I see no option to create an account and what do you do with or original registration number for our spiceworld tickets? only option i have are to provide an email and a password.

I tapped the menu icon and then ‘log in’ - it asked for my name, then the confirmation code.

Hey everyone! You should have JUST received an email about the mobile app which will remind you what your confirmation code is – so you can log in!

I seem to have spiceworld austin 2014, london 2015, austin 2015 and london 2016 listed.
I did not download the app 2015 - but wonder if its picked up i had it back in 2014 (on the same mobile number but completely different phone)? If i registered then i have no idea of knowing what account it was with (have tried all the ones it could have been in 2014) and with no way to “register” using new email address i have no way to access the system.
Boooo!

There is no option to create an account for me - just login.
I assume since it recognizes something about my phone (same number - new device) it is skipping any option to register

When I downloaded it and attempted to connect it to my account via the networking option, I entered my name and confirmation number as expected. The confirmation screen said :
Looks like a bug… I do not get a confirmation email to link my registration with the app.

Sorry for the confusion - once you are in the app, you’ll 'Log In’ to get access to the added features, networking, notes, etc.
- It will appear at the top of the app, Log in with a gear next to it (see below).
-
Click on the gear and it will prompt you to enter your first name and last name, and then your email.
-
Verify your account. An verification email will be sent to your inbox. Open it and tapVerify Account. You’ll see your confirmation code has already been carried over. Just tapFinish. [No need to add your confirmation code, it autofills it!]
Thanks for hanging in there, everyone while works through this!

That method works Dana M
Though i would say you can not confirm email address from stopped client - you need to open email on device where app installed and once confirmed you can use the “open app” button and the app registers the fact you have logged in.
Again this is what i had to do - others mileage may vary
Yay! Thanks for letting us know so we could get that corrected.

The networking section is not working. Asks for your name and registration and then shows the screenshot that I posted above.
I guess they don’t want us to connect with other attendees
Edit to add: I simply cannot log in at all. To anything. But at least it still shows the schedule. I cannot save or bookmark things because I can’t log in, and then I get stuck in the loop of enter your name and confirmation number and then it sends a confirmation email to test@test.com as shown previously.
Hey Katie - did you enter an email address account that you can go back to click on the account verification message?

It didn’t ask for one. Is it safe to guess that once entering my registration confirmation number, it might already know my email address?

I did not.
This is a really poor log in mechanism. The code it wants is not the registration code when you registered for the conference. It is the registration code for the user account for the app itself.
Further troubleshooting leads me to needing to click the create account link. (which is dodgy on my android unit to begin with) Then it sends me an email confirmation that has to be opened on the mobile device itself - AND it only works ONCE. So I have to do this on EACH device I want to use the SpiceWorld app on. (I have two phones and an iPad that come with me to the conference) It doesn’t remember that I already logged in on a different device.
I think I’ve spent 45 minutes on this stupid thing.
TL;DR - the app is wonky. It doesn’t know that you need it on multiple devices and is local to the device itself.
