SQL Plugin - Not aware of SQL servers in other subnets

I have SQL servers in other subnets that the new pluging can not see.

Is this by design?

Can I add them manually?

Othni, do the SQL Servers devices on the other subnets show up in the Spiceworks inventory?

it depends! if the servers are part of the inventory, then you better check the ports (default 1433) for SQL if they are opened?

The SQL servers show up in the inventory and they are running at the default SQL port (1433).

There are no firewall in between.

Hi Othni, browse to the devices in inventory and verify that the SQL servers are listed on the Software tab for each device.
