Hi,
I’m trying to upgrade the 3CX system to 15.5.
We have a FQDN of our own, but there is no SSL certificate.
How can I get an SSL certificate and a CDR, as I’m stuck with the installation.
Thanks

You need to generate a CSR (Certificate Signing Request).

I have never done it before. so I’m not sure how it can be done.

My advice is to kill your install, uninstall, start over and use a 3CX FQDN and their certificate (all free and automatic). That is if you value your time.

I agree. The process is fast and easy and you avoid the expense of maintaining an ssl.

Thank you for the replies.
I cant use a 3CX FQDN, as we already have a FQDN of our own and cant change it.

You can always logon to 3cx customer portal and release the current FQDN in order to use another one such as 3CX provided, which by the way works like a charm and saves so much time and cost.
However if you really need your own then you need to get your cert.
