We are using TeamViewer v 11.0.76421 and I keep getting “your trial has expired.” I have uninstalled the program and re-installed to get around this, but now the “trial” has expired yet again. The thing is, we are using TV in a business capacity and I am told we pay for a license. Yet the screenshot I was shown read:
License: Business
Account License: Free

WTH? Now, please don’t jump to conclusions and assume that we are not in compliance, I don’t know if that’s the case here! I have just never heard of a “free” business license and we are not a non-profit. Just wanted to get some feedback here before I escalate up to TV support. Thanks.

Does the account you use to log into teamviewer have a license attached to it? If not, then you aren’t using your licensed copy of it.

Thanks, Ross. I believe that is is the issue: that I’m logged into the corporate account, but have no license attached to my TV copy.

Your “Account” license is free. Your account is what lets you log on to teamviewer.com to access your management console.

As far as the trial expiring problem, when you install, I suspect that your license is not being activated. This setting is under ‘Extras’, Activate License.

Teamviewer has a business license so there is no license for the account. See below:

And this is in compliance.

Thanks, Daniel. Yes, this looks exactly like what we have.

Thank you, Erin! My boss provided me with the license key. What does it mean to “move” the license exactly?
