Hi,
We are looking for a TeamViewer alternative that has similar licensing. We have 16 technicians and looking for a decent remote control solution with monthly commitment that can provide 6(or similar) concurrent sessions for the whole team, not necessarily per technician.
I have checked Zoho and ScreenConnect and both of them have per technician pricing which is really pricey as thought we would be able to find something not as expensive as TeamViewer without committing annually.
We will need an IE frame for the remote control that we can embed on our website where client can just click on to install the remote client without UAC/Admin Rights and then email us with ID or just their name advising remote client is running. Entering a session code etc isn’t an option.
Any advice would be much appreciated

Hi,
Give a try on ManageEngine Remote Access Plus , which will allow to you perform all the advance remote control operations, along with remote command prompt, registry changes, wake on LAN, remote shutdown and more. If you are looking for enterprise level and felt Zoho Assist is little expensive, I would request you to try Remote Access Plus as this comes both on cloud/premise, and comparatively less expensive.
Remote access plus will help you with multiple concurrent sessions as well. DM me know if you’d like to see a personalised demo of the same.
Cheers!

I would look at Splashtop SOS. $199/technician/year, and it’s pretty highly regarded here.

Appreciate all the shout outs for Splashtop! Splashtop ON-Demand Support (SOS) is a great alternative for on-demand, quick support. It’s cost effective at $199 per admin per year. You get unlimited attended remote support of computers. Please give SOS a free test drive, and I’m here to answer any question.

Chiming in with the others - Splashtop + SOS has been our solution since we dumped Teamviewer and ScreenConnect. Love it and it fit the budget.

Our ScreenConnect licensing is based on number of concurrent sessions, not technicians. We’ve had it for a long time though so it’s possible we are grandfathered in.

Enable your service desk with secure access & support for any device, any system, from anywhere – including Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS.
We have an older version of Bomgar that we use for this and it’s treated us quite well over the years. I’m not perfectly clear on the pricing, but it’s up on their site.
Our users are directed to our support site where they download and run the client, with standard user privileges, and it connects them to the representatives console. You can also install the client on machines to have full administrative rights on the unit as well. (We do this for domain-connected, business owned units.)
For some, Skype-for-business has a screen sharing function that seems to work pretty well for quick things.
Zoho Assist is one of the best Teamviewer Alternatives . Yes, Zoho Assist has named license model. However, it lets you add all the technicians in your organization and choose remote support on specific technicians as you need. i.e., you can subscribe to 6 technicians Zoho Assist license and add all the 16 technicians. You can choose Remote support option on any 6 of them manually when you want them to conduct remote support sessions.
We have a standard discount yet will be happy to provide you with an additional discount, if you choose annual billing. I assure you a comparatively inexpensive subscription.
Right now in Zoho Assist, only the technicians can start a remote support session. We do not have an option for the guest to start the remote support session and connect to an available technician.
You can either DM me or contact us at support@zohoassist.com .

@Seethal (Zoho) - Sorry you missed my requirements. We need the clients to click on a button, download the client without having to specify a ticket or session number. This is primary reason that Zoho isn’t suitable. Licensing model is secondary reason
Thank you for explaining your requirement Sam. But as I said we do not have that feature right now. And to start a session, the technician should have a Zoho Assist account.

Hey @Sarah for Connectwise. Yes, Control is what I tried. I used the word Screenconnect as a lot of people still don’t know that it’s called Connectwise Control. You guys have a brilliant product - I would even go as far as saying that it’s the best remote control tool I have used but at the same time you guys have a really poor and inflexible license model which stops companies like us from nit being able to use the product
