We use a mix of LogMeIn for troubleshooting and GoToMyPc for all the users who remote in, although a couple people do use a VPN.

If it’s for non-commercial use, you can use Splashtop Personal which is just $16.99 per user per year.

Welcome to Spiceworks!
We use GoToAssist to support our remote staff.
If your requirement is to manage users within the network, Lepide remote admin tool should be an ideal solution for you.
It’s free and helps to get complete access to control as many endpoints as you require through a centralized platform.
Try Zoho Assist. You can evaluate free for 30-days and take your call. We offer both ad-hoc and unattended remote access in one product and our pricing is affordable.
PM me or post your queries here.
@Zoho
Please take a look at the FixMe.IT remote access tool. It’s very easy to use, and allows configuring up to 150 unattended clients as well as running an unlimited number of concurrent support sessions with a single license. Subscription prices start at $30/month up to $300/year. You can also try it free for 15 days to decide if it’s the right fit for the needs.
Hey OP! Welcome to the community! You’ve definitely come to the right place
For Remote Access tools, I’d definitely check out TeamViewer. It can be used as an incredibly simple, yet powerful IT management platform that you can integrate directly into your work environment.
Plus, TeamViewer is free for personal use and as a trial version for business!
