The quiz that tests your IT prowess every day, now lets you comment on the questions. If you have ever visited the Start page or feed , you’ve seen the Daily Challenge . It’s our daily question that tests your IT expertise on a variety of topics, with the questions getting progressively harder as you get more answers right. View the dashboard to see who’s on top of the Leaderboard, how you rank in different categories, the level of difficulty of your questions, and previous questions you’ve answered.

The Daily Challenge is so popular, we found that interested SpiceHeads started continuing the conversations by creating Topic posts. To make it easier to have those conversations, now you can comment on the questions as you get them daily. Each question has an explanation page after you answer it that shows the comments others have left. Let other challenge takers know how you’ve used this knowledge in the past, share interesting tidbits about the answer, or ask any follow up questions you may have. You can always go back to previous discussions from your Previous Questions page.

Try and it out and let us know what you think. And if there are other new features that would make the Daily Challenge even better, share your ideas in the comments below.

Noice!

Excellent feature. Won’t have to sift through the feedback page to see if someone already brought up a question.

Nice addition. I actually used it this morning for a question with an ambiguous answer.

Cool. This should eliminate the “please post a link to the question” type responses.

Hopefully we have constructive comments

Nice. No more posting links. Let’s hope we have constructive comments and not a lot of bickering back and forth.

The amount of times i have wanted to comment on a question but simply couldn’t be bothered to go through the rigmarole of doing it is countless…now i can spam the questions with comments!

Awesome!

I’ll make sure the snarkiness filter is active

Now I can see how many other people are venting about the question.

Thanks Spiceworks!

I dont think that will happen. I predict bickering.

The daily questions prove to me that I am not good at guessing. Many of those questions, I am like; it is one of these two…and nearly always I choose the wrong one. I chuckle as most of them are over things I do not daily, and I still guess just to have fun.

I don’t think there will be bickering…

Questions: If you are the first to comment on a question, who gets the notification saying someone commented on the question? The question author? The mod that vetted the question? Nobody?

Just asking because a lot of the time topics created about these questions are because the question is either too ambiguous or the correct answer is in fact incorrect etc. Can the author respond to that? Or is the mod who vetted it responsible for accuracy?

I’m so confused
