I’ve lost count on how many times I’ve reinstalled the plugin here. Less than 10, but more than 5, I’m sure, and all of them in an effort to do whatever VMWare thinks it can do through their web tools. It doesn’t work, @VMware . I’ve done this in chrome and IE. The VMRC is crappppppppppppppppppp. It’s does repeating keysssssssssssss. It’sssssss slooooooow to loaddddddddd. How am I expected to work with a tool that won’t even let me type my username?

Do you know what does work? The old client. My 4.1 install works. The 5.5 and 6.0+ installations? Frickin’ crappy. Oh, sure, there’s new features, but as an admin, the tools I have to use make me want to use XenServer 5.x. Get rid of the web shit, VMWare. It’s flash and it’s bad and it’s already outdated.

Agree with you! No idea why they want to go away from the vSphere client.

The vSphere 6.0 client works well. The VMRC is annoying. For me it just fails to connect a lot. I mostly just use the desktop client when I need to view a VM’s console.

It really doesn’t make any sense to me either. I mean, how long is it going to be before you’re doing one function in IE because it works best in IE, and another function in Chrome because it works better in Chrome. Don’t laugh, I’ve seen it!
